Matt Gillis

Hello, I am Matt Gillis. As your real estate agent with R1 South Dakota, I am committed to guiding you through every step of the way. I was born and raised in Wisconsin until I went off to college at The University of Vermont. Graduating with a degree in business and a minor in nutrition and food science. After, graduation I moved out to Oregon and worked at a fly shop. During this time, I learned how to day trade.

Beginning of 2021 I moved to South Dakota to explore the Black Hills with my dog and to focus on trading. After a short period of time, I missed the daily experience of helping others. To me there is no better privilege than helping someone shoot their first duck or hook into their first trout and sharing those experiences. I still remember where and who I was with my first time, and I hope they feel the same way. Whether this is your first or fifth housing transaction I hope I have the opportunity and privilege to share the experience with you!
